Village of Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Peabody’s Interiors, a premier Wisconsin interior design studio that has been in business since 1977, is planning to relocate their operations to 8655 North Deerwood Drive in Brown Deer. Peabody’s employs a staff of 16, including six full time interior designers.

Peabody’s intends to occupy office space in a building that is currently home to Wade Weissmann Architecture. The two firms have a strong working relationship and have partnered on many projects in the past. Kelly Gallion, Peabody’s Managing Director, stated, “the ability to work closely with Wade Weissmann Architecture allows our clients the opportunity to have architectural and interior design services available under the same roof”.

Village Manager, Russell Van Gompel, is pleased that Peabody’s Interiors is moving to Brown Deer, “Peabody’s move to the Deerwood Drive location continues a positive trend of reinvestment in Brown Deer’s historic Original Village neighborhood, the earliest settlement location in the Village”.

Peabody’s intends to open its design studio and showroom in Brown Deer by May 1, 2010. Hours of operation are scheduled to be Monday- Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Ingeteam is the Spanish company building a factory in the United States and decide to build in Milwaukee. The Company will produce electric generators at the plant for wind turbines and converters for the "green" energy industry. Ingeteam plans to employ 275 workers at the factory with construction expected to begin in April. Ingeteam has leased space at the 9055 N. 51st Street building in Brown Deer.

One of the easiest ways would be to post it directly to your personal wall or better yet create a "General Capital" profile or page. Once the information is on a wall you can field questions or comments and link people back to that page. The other option would be to start a discussion through this group. Lastly we will be creating a "Marketplace" group which may provide a good forum for advertising servicesa nd real estate.

It would be great if this site could serve as another up-to-date resource for availble lease space. The Village does feature a link to a regional commercial property database at:
