YMCA Healthy Kids Day

The Rite Hite Family YMCA is holding a "Healthy Kids Day on April 17 at their facility/ Events start at 11:00 am and continue until 1:00 pm. The schedule of events can be found at this link. Y Healthy Kids.pdfY Healthy Kids.pdf.

Use the extra daylight from Daylight Savings Time that begins on March 14th to squeeze in a daily family walk through your neighborhood – an excellent way to get some quality family time and burn a few calories in the process.

Thanks, Nate! I took a ride up the trail in Mequon yesterday...and there were lots of people out and about on foot and bikes!

The bike trail extension is finally moving forward! Village engineering staff recently coordinated with the County to prepare documents for a joint bid. Construction is targeted to begin at the end of July. While most of the paving will move quickly, the lead time on the bridge installation will delay 100% completion until the October. We will continue to update the community as we proceed through bidding and construction.
