Just a quick note to let you know that the tax bills were mailed yesterday, December 13th.  The information is also on the Village website. Please note that the Village Hall will be closed on December 23,26,30 of 2011 and January 2, 2012. 

I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy the remaining days of nice weather.  If you are looking for something to do, check out the Bike Trail and extension of the Oak Leaf Trail.  I am amazed at the number of people going by in Village Park.  This past week I had the opportunity to particpate in the ribbon cutting for the Oak Leaf Trail extension.  We celebrated the trail extension, the cleanup of the Southbranch Creek and the new pedestrian bridge crossing the creek near Teutonia.  Get out and… Continue

Brown Deer Election Results are in with a turnout of 63%, 4,935 votes were cast from a total of 7,957 registered voters.  In Brown Deer, Sandra Pasch received 2,889 votes to Alberta Darling's 2,038.

The attendance at the Pond on July 1 was the largest single day attendance in over 10 years.  Thanks to the staff and visit the pond to keep cool this summer and over the 4th of July weekend.
