Traffic Concerns Along N. 60th Street

The Village Board is revewing options to address pedestrian and vehicle traffic issues along N. 60th Street between W. Bradley Road and W. Dean Road.  These issues were discussed with the Traffic and Public Safety Committee.  The Committee made several recomendations to the Village Board.  Prior to taking any action, the Village Board is seeking public comments.  The public comments will be collected at an informational meeting on April 17th at 6:30 pm in the Middle School Cafeteria.…

Woman's Scholarship Available

Tax Bills

Just a quick note to let you know that the tax bills were mailed yesterday, December 13th.  The information is also on the Village website. Please note that the Village Hall will be closed on December 23,26,30 of 2011 and January 2, 2012.

Bike Trail

I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy the remaining days of nice weather.  If you are looking for something to do, check out the Bike Trail and extension of the Oak Leaf Trail.  I am amazed at the number of people going by in Village Park.  This past week I had the opportunity to particpate in the ribbon cutting for the Oak Leaf Trail extension.  We celebrated the trail extension, the cleanup of the Southbranch Creek and the new pedestrian bridge crossing the creek near Teutonia.  Get out and… Continue
